GE Healthcare is one of the most important global players in the healthcare and biotechnical fields, with more than 47,000 employees in over 100 countries.
Due to a growing number of annual product launches and strict regulatory requirements, documentation teams needed a system that could ensure consistent content via single-sourcing, provide version control, reduce lead times, and improve the translation process.
After a thorough evaluation of systems already in use by other GE divisions, as well a number of other systems with representation in Sweden, Skribenta was selected.
The documentation teams handle hundreds of publications ranging from small instruction leaflets to 1000-page system manual packages, some of which are translated to up to 23 different languages. This is now all done seamlessly, in a fraction of the time.
