Text format can now be applied to several selected blocks, including table cells.
If you, for instance, want 3 paragraphs to have a special font size, you can select the paragraphs:
and then select the font size in the Text format toolbar:

This corresponds to setting the font size on each paragraph, one by one.
Note that Subscript and superscript are not allowed on paragraphs (blocks).
The popup panel when selecting table cells previously looked like this:
Now, 3 buttons have been removed;
The Background color is handled by the Text format top toolbar.
The Width button is moved to the Table toolbar:
The same panel can be opened in the Column top toolbar:
The Apply-to button is not needed anymore
The Width button opens a panel that looks like this:
You can change the width values in 3 ways:
By clicking the Up or Down arrows - the value increases or decreases by 1
Writing a value in the text fields
Dragging the column borders - when the mouse is released the fields are updated
The numbers specify the column's widths relative to each other. In the example above, the third column occupies 17/291 percent (6%) of the table. The whole table occupies 52% of the available horizontal space.
You can skip specifying the width on each column and let the cell content control the width.
The table ear has been removed. It changed the number of columns in the table. This function is available in the Table toolbar and the Less/More columns buttons:
It is not possible to select a table cell with the mouse. To set border and align properties on one cell you need to select it and open the table Properties panel - so what to do?.
There is now a workaround: You can use the CTRL-a (Select all) button inside a table cell until you reach the td element. The message will read:
